Speckled Envelope 002
One of a kind slab-built stoneware envelope. This envelope was imprinted with a vintage metal stamp mold utilized for embossing tobacco in the 1920s. It was then glazed with a thin layer of a matte white glaze and fired in a gas kiln, reduction environment. The overlap from dipping created a line down the middle. There is a hole in the back to accommodate hanging on the wall.
